Announcing ChicagoSkater.org site launch!

I'm super happy to announce launch of THE new social networking site for Chicago area SKATERS! Serving inline skaters, quads, boarders, scooters, basically all people powered wheeled fun other than bikes. http://ChicagoSkater.org

I really need initial members to get the ball rolling so PLEASE come be one of the first to join! http://ChicagoSkater.org

It's a "Ning" system, the vastly popular free social network. Many of you are already on another Ning network and can join ChicagoSkater.org with just a few clicks using existing login/password. It's got all the bells and whistles, even newfangled mobile messaging.

I've populated the site with every local skating event I could find, and paid for years in advance. My hope is that local skaters will make it their own (so I don't have to do any work). It's my gift to help foster more and bigger group events, and to strengthen the voice of Chicago skaters in a lower car future.
